PROJECT OMEN / RELEASE NOTES

Every change, in plain words.

The public download and the work currently in verification are shown separately so you can tell exactly what you are installing today.

PUBLIC DOWNLOAD

v2.11.3

This is the current public Omen release available from the official download page. Its SHA-256 fingerprint is published on the Trust page.

Do not assume an upcoming feature is in the public installer until this page marks the build as released.

IN VERIFICATION

v2.11.5

These additions are captured in the website screenshots and are being checked before the public download changes. The build is not the public download yet.

UPCOMING / v2.11.5

More control, without hiding the tradeoffs.

Crosshair and presets

  • Top, right, bottom, and left crosshair arm lengths adjust independently
  • Saved display looks can record supported hotkey combinations
  • Pressing a preset hotkey applies it; pressing again restores the original display; pressing again reapplies it
  • Escape clears a preset shortcut while recording

Resolution and system

  • Resolution Lab lists supported monitor modes and offers Rust stretched-resolution starting points
  • Save, delete, and assign hotkeys to custom resolution presets
  • A 15-second confirmation restores the previous mode if you do not confirm
  • Optional open-with-Windows and close-to-notification-area settings, both off by default

Audio and music

  • Loud Footsteps remembers its state and threshold after restart
  • The prior Windows volume is restored after an interrupted run before the mode resumes
  • Music page can open YouTube Music, Spotify, Pandora, or SoundCloud
  • Offline MP3 and WAV library persists locally

Display and safety

  • Display controls keep the existing external Windows color pipeline approach
  • Background media releases when Omen is inactive or minimized
  • Personal settings are retained between launches
  • Checks continue before the release package and website version label are updated

What a release means here

When a version is marked public, the website download version, file size, SHA-256 fingerprint, screenshots, feature claims, and account behavior should all describe that same build. If a feature is only in verification, we label it as upcoming instead of making it look available today.
